RDHAP

An RDHAP is a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice.

RDHAPs are licensed dental hygienists who have completed additional education and licensing requirements that allow them to provide certain dental hygiene services in approved alternative settings.

These settings may include schools, community health programs, long-term care facilities, residential care settings, and other locations where people may have difficulty receiving preventive dental care in a traditional dental office.

The goal of the RDHAP profession is to help improve access to preventive oral health services, especially for individuals and communities who may face barriers to care.

Camille is passionate about using her RDHAP license to help bring preventive oral health care to more people in the community.

Throughout her career, she has always enjoyed working with people from different backgrounds and helping patients feel comfortable, respected, and informed.

She believes education and prevention can make a meaningful difference in a person’s oral health and overall well-being.

As Camille continues exploring this next chapter of her career, she hopes to use her RDHAP license to help expand access to care and serve individuals who may benefit from receiving dental hygiene services outside of a traditional dental office.
